Chancellor Murao receives her copy from Prof. Alaras

Retired UP professor Consolacion R. Alaras held the Davao City book launch for her book "The Spiritual History of the University of the Philippines for the World" on December 8, 2023, in Magsaysay Park, Davao City. The book documents the support of the University of the Philippines for Prof. Alaras' advocacy.  

Prof. Alaras held her book launch before the "Ang Bathala" statute created by National Artist and former UP professor Napoleon Abueva and located in Magsaysay Park.

UP Mindanao Chancellor Lyre Anni E. Murao received a copy of the book along with Department of Trade & Industry-XI Creative Industries Coordinator Gem Estrada, while singer Aleja Caballero performed patriotic and spiritual songs at the ceremony.  

UP Mindanao Public Relations Officer Rene Estremera and DTI-XI Coordinator JR Olanolan likewise received copies of the book. Prof. Alaras also donated copies of her book for other UP Mindanao officials.
