The University Library team donated books and unveiled its digitalization facility in ceremonies on November 22, 2023. Chancellor Murao led the ceremonial handing out of book donations to Mati Polytechnic College President Janice Bernadeth Agbong, the Indigenous People's Children Reading Program Coordinator Susan Palad, Mintal Comprehensive HS Principal Raul Cabilogan, and Pahinungod Director Michael Gatela for the BARMM. Book donations are also on hand for Upi Agricultural School through Librarian Marinelli Murillo, Kidawa National HS through UPMin Land Management Officer Joel Sagadal, Sultan Kudarat NHS, and Alabel NHS. Fastbooks Educational Supply was the donor, through its General Manager Juliet Concepcion, who gave a message over the web.
In addition, Chancellor Lyre Murao and Information Technology Director Armacheska Satina cut the ribbon to open the Library's digitalization device. University Librarian Briccio Merced Jr. named the Mandaya Games and the Darangen as the first books for digitalization. The digitized books will be available through the University Library's website.
