Appeals Period Open for UPCA Applicants

The University of the Philippines Mindanao (UPMin) has opened its appeals period for UPCA 2023 applicants who received a University Predicted Grade of 2.8000 from the UP Office of Admissions. 
The appeals period is from August 7-18, 2023.

 Sa mga administrador at opisyales ng UP Mindanao, mga propesor at tagapagturo sa unibersidad, mga manggagawa na narito ngayon, sa ating mga alumni, mga bisita, mga magulang, at kapwa ko magsisipagtapos, isang mapagpalayang umaga sa inyong lahat. 
 
Tunay po na isang malaking karangalan na mabigyan ng pagkakataong makapagsalita sa harap ng aking mga kapwa iskolar na marilag at nakasuot na ng sablay sa araw na ito. Ang aking taos-pusong pagbati ay nais kong iparating sa lahat ng aking mga kapwa nagtapos at sa kanilang mga magulang sa pag-abot sa isang mahalagang milestone sa ating paglalakbay. Ang araw na ito ay tunay na atin. Sa araw na ito, ating igugunita at ipadiriwang ang ating pagpupursige, ang bawat pawis, at maging ang mga luhang napunta sa hirap, mapa-thesis man ito, projects, papers, lab report, plates, o ‘di mabilang na mga mahahabang pagsusulit sa ating blue books o sa online man, na nagdulot sa atin ng tagumpay.

UPMin Campaign Caravan in Bukidnon National School of Arts & Trades

The Office of the University Registrar (OUR), in collaboration with the Office of Students Affairs (OSA) and the Ugnayan ng Pahinungod, embarked on another UPMin Campaign and Caravan, this time at Bukidnon National School of Home Industries (BNSHI) on June 21-22, 2023.  The caravan aims to promote the university and its academic programs and to provide prospective students with information on the benefits of UP education. BNSHI has a grade 10 student population of around 700, a number of whom wish to study at UPMin. The UPMin team used the opportunity to interact with the students and share information on the academic programs, the admission requirements (UPCAT), and the scholarship opportunities in UP Mindanao. Registrar Karen Joyce Cayamanda and Pahinungod Director Michael Gatela led the campaign with the support of UPMin and BNHSI faculty and staff.
