The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, in collaboration with the University of the Philippines Mindanao, will be conducting a FREE Infectious Diseases 'Omics online short course on Bioinformatics on 22-25 November 2021. 

This short online course will further capacitate your skills in Bioinformatics in a ONE HEALTH setting.

The Center for Applied Modeling, Data Analytics, and Bioinformatics for Decision Support Systems in Health (AMDABiDSS-Health) and Center for the Advancement of Research in Mindanao (CARIM) University of the Philippines Mindanao invites abstract submissions on papers from all areas of:
Disease Surveillance & Diagnostics
Mathematical Modeling and Quantitative Methods in Health
Health Sciences
Health Research Among High Schools
Abstract may contain at most 250 words and must clearly discuss what the work is about, methodology used, major results, and their significance. Authors of outstanding papers presented at the conference and selected by a pool of experts will be invited to submit full papers for inclusion in the Special Edition of Banwa: The Multidisciplinary Journal of UP Mindanao.

 UPDATE: Elections for the 7th Staff Regent of the University of the Philippines will be held on Monday, 04 October 2021, for one (1) day only. Please read the details in the image, below. This corrects the previous announcement which stated that elections are on 04-05 October 2021. There will be no more elections on 05 October 2021. The nominees for the 7th Staff Regent are VICTORIA "Vicki" CANAPE BELEGAL, Administrative Officer V from UP Open University, and JULIE “Duli” E. TUGUINAY, RGC, PBET, Guidance Services Specialist from UP Baguio. On Oct 1, 2021 (Friday), 1:00 – 5:00 PM, there will be a public forum via Zoom which will be attended by administrative staff from UP Manila, UP Mindanao, and UP Visayas.
