Sports Enhancement Webinar, 06 December

2021 120621 MUSCULOThe Department of Human Kinetics (DHK) will hold a Sports Enhancement Webinar on 06 December 2021, 5:00 - 6:30 PM. Dr. Isagani S. Leal, a specialist in musculoskeletal medicine, will be the resource person. The webinar will provide ideas to improve the training of athletes, prevent injuries in sports and physical activities, provide a learning environment for DHK's students and practitioners, and serve as an extension program of the department. The University of the Philippines (UP) Mindanao Ugnayan ng Pahinungód invites the public to participate in the third session of The Ledivina V. Cariño Webinar Series: "Understanding the Peace and Conflict Narratives of BARMM from a Volunteer's Experience," on November 18, 2021 (Thursday) 1:30 - 4:00 pm. 

Ms. Hazel Pergis-Lozada is our volunteer speaker. She is a UP Mindanao graduate of BA Social Science who now works as a researcher, consultant, and peace advocate in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). She will share how she developed her understanding of peace and conflict in BARMM as a researcher and as an outsider, based on her exposure in volunteering and other field exposure.
